Sight Words
The Kindergarten Team expects that you practice your child’s sight words daily.
Sight words are frequently used and repeated in text. Young children are
encouraged to memorize them in order to allow them to concentrate more on
less familiar words while reading as well as the text's meaning. They are critical
to your child’s reading success!
