What a great first day of kindergarten!! We read Pete the Cat Rocking in my school shoes and then tried to find Pete in our school by going on a scavenger hunt (we didn't find him but he did leave us a cool coloring sheet in our room), we turned our names into rainbows, we played with our "fidget blocks", we read the kissing hand and started a craft (pictures to come), we made new friends and started new memories!
It's going to be a great year! Make sure your kiddo gets lots of sleep tonight! The rest of the week will be filled with lots more activities, rules and fun!!! Here are a few pictures from our busy first day! Stay tuned for lots more pictures as the week goes on!!
Tomorrow we will be learning about rules in our classroom, what our behavior chart is, how to use an exercise ball as a chair and SO much more!!!! Phew!!! :)
